Hey guys,
I'm from Vancouver - home of the 2010 winter Olympics as you may know - I stumbled upon this website while surfing the internet. Around the age of 10 I started cleaning cars, ever since then I've loved doing it. Currently I've started my own mobile detailing service - Jetwash -. With amazing results on vehicles I've always and only used a Porter Cable random orbital with Mothers products. Just recently after spending HOURS! reading on this website and Inspired by watching Barry Theals' detailing video multiple times to take notes, I've decided to join the autopia community. After seeing some of the spectacular results from you guys I just recently bought myself a Makita 9227C rotary, although it was second hand it was practically brand new and it was only $150! I have no experience with this machine I intend to learn more but have the basic understanding of what and what not to do with it. All I really need is some practice and my buddies old fox body oxidized mustang to see what I can really do! Also after spending hours reading on autopia.org. I made a informed decision and order a bunch of products off of eshine.net which include: an array of LC 8" foam pads, spur tool, an aggressive Riccardo blue Claybar, New Car & Leather spray scents, and what im most excited about! M#105, M#205 and Collinite insulator wax! Attached below is going to be my first project when all my products arrive! I gotta say its amazing what alot of you guys can do with paint correction using the rotary, but hands down from what I've seen so far I really look up to Barry Theal. I hope to get in contact with this guy and hopefully learn alot more from this website!
Cheers,
Oliver.
