Newbie here! I live in beautiful Teton Valley, Idaho. I own Moulton Auto Glass & Detail here in Driggs. My business is mostly focused on auto glass repair and replacement but have wanted to start increasing my detail work (less variable expenses than auto glass). I found this forum 3 weeks ago and have been addicted ever since! Great info on virtually anything related to detailing. My equipment currently consists of:

Honda 2700 psi pressure washer

Ridgid 6.5 HP Wet/Dry Vac

Tornador

PC DA Polisher

Lake Country Pads

I currently use mostly Meg's Detailer line for chemicals... APC+,Hyperwash,Hyperdressing,Body Solvent. I am using Meg's #105, 205, and collinite as my Cut, Polish and finishing wax.

I am currently trying to decide between investing in a VX5000 Steamer or a Carpet Extractor for carpet and upholstery cleaning. I currently treat with APC+, agitate with brush, pressure wash very quickly and suck up water with wet vac. Seems to do a good job, but I am looking on cutting down cleaning/drying time. I am leaning towards the steamer because of the versatility.

Also looking for opinions on how to clean door jambs better/faster. Lots of dirt roads up here so usually the door jambs are caked in dirt and mud. Seems like I stain a lot of MF towels trying to get them clean. Also curious as to when to clean. During exterior or interior?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Guys!
