Hey there everyone,
I'm a photographer here in So.Cal, I've been into cars since I was a kid. I've always gone to car shows with my dad, we currently own a 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT-8 that has been tricked out and customized by Stack Performance here in Anaheim (the car was originally owned by Stack's owner).
I've been doing basic detailing for a few years now, I started on our 2005 Chevy Silverado VHO (Vortec High Output), then we got a 2010 Challenger R/T, now decided we wanted Ryan's sweet SRT-8:tongue:.
Our car has a pretty sweet custom paintjob now, so I've decided it's time to get a little more serious about taking care of the clearcoat and such.
Here's a link to photos of the car so you can all see what I'm dealing with:
Our new 2009 Challenger SRT-8 - M-B-Photos--Michael Barry | SmugMug
And a teaser photo:
As you can see, there's a lot of straight black, so swirls show up like mad. Same with the red, it's not metallic so again, swirls really show.
Hopefully I can learn a lot here and keep this paintjob nice an wicked!
-Mike
