Hi,
My names Ben, from the UK. I have just brought a brand new 2010 VW Polo and I want to look after it. My first ever new car after years of having bangers.
I joined the mainly uk forum detailing world to get to understand detailing and products. I found a good detailer and got my car machine polished (to take out the light swirls inflicted by the car dealer).
Anyhow, the var after being, cleaned, clayed and polished was treated to a coat of optimum opti-seal and topped with a coat of swissvax best of show.
I've joined autopia as I realize opti-seal is an American product and you'll know the product much better than many of the UK detailers.
it beading beautifully but realize in about a month or two, I'll reapply the lsp's.
I intended to use a light hand filler/polish (to cover any swirls I might add from washing) and the coat with opti-seal and Collies 476s on top.
The question I'm interested in is, which polish/filler would you recommend to us under a coat of opti-seal; considering that opti-seal is very heavily solvent based?
I'll also post this in the appropriate forum.
Regards
Ben
