I never realized there were so many people like me floating around! Most friends/co-workers and my girlfriend think I am borderline nuts!!!!!!
Anyway, a little about me; I am 29 years of age, from PA.,and do collision work for a living. I have been detailing my own stuff before I was legally old enough to drive.I am into older Cadillacs/ Lincolns, and newer higher end SUV"s and luxury cars. Here is my personal fleet:1979 Fleetwood Brougham black with red interior ( the paint job on this car will put any new factory black paint job to shame)! 1992 brougham d'Elegance which I just sold to make room for my new toy,a 2005 Lincoln LS V8 with the ultimate package with Ceramic White Tri-Coat paint, and my girlfriend's 2001 Pontiac Grand Am SE2 that is my current daily driver.I hope to share and gain some knowledge from this message board.I prefer Meguiar's and Eagle one products. What does everybody else care for? I hear alot of talk about Zaino. Can somebody share some opinions with me about it? Thank you for taking the time to read this and I will upload some photos when I get the chance.

Welcome to DC!
You will find quite a few Zaino users here, but you will also find a lot of other products being used.
As you well know, proper prep is the secret to the finished product whether it be painting or detailing.
Jngrbrdman once said that the look is 90% process, 10% product. I think he summed it up pretty well.
One thing about the Meguiar's line, they seem to have it all.
Personally, I think whatever line you choose and use properly will give you good results.

Look forward to see pics of that black Caddy, as for products, you will find people use a number of different lines, and all give realy nice results.

Welcome to DC!

I know how it is using Meguiar's products. I started out using a lot of their products. Read so much here on DC that i started branching out using a lot of different products that were mentioned on this site.

Am presently using Zaino product line. All I can say about Zaino is that prep is the important part. Without prep Zaino does no better than any other product line. The same can be said for Meguiar's. If you like Meguiars and are happy with the results I would be wont to tell you to change.

Just keep on reading. he posts, comments and the pictures will give you an idea as to where you want to go with products.
