Heavly Oxidized Chrome

I have an '89 Buick that has chrome that isn't shiny anymore. Does anyone know what works to bring it back to life?

Mother's makes a chrome polish that you should be able to find at any decent parts store.

It will take some elbow grease it the chrome is really badly oxidized, but it should help a lot.

Head down to Ace's Hardware...They are the only place I've been able to find "Old No.7 Chrome Polish". It is the most abrasive chrome polish I've used, but does the best job in the least amount of time. If it doesn't work with that stuff, it's too far gone.

Eagle One Nevr Dull Wadding Polish works very well, cheap, available locally, easy to use and not at all messy. Kinda stinks though.
