Headliners

I can't believe how cheap the material is they are using on head liners. Lately I've seen more than my share of dirty headliners. You can't use a brush, else the material will fray, can't use strong chemicals else it will change color. It is getting to be a pain. If you can share some secrets I'll like to hear from you. I agree... especially on the ff: cars

Audi (pre 97)

Alfa (almost all of them)

Actually, most soft-cloth like headliners are virtually uncleanable, any contact with cleaners or slight moisture, the fabric stretches and drops.:down

I used a foam fabric cleaner on the headliners that I do along with a very soft brush and a towel and they seem to come out well. No staining and very minimal fraying which I usually snip off when I'm done.

Labster, that's exactly what a guy told me that was certified on fabric cleaning. Use a foam cleaner for delicate fabric/material. I tried it and it worked OUTSTANDING.! thanks for the post. Gary :bounce
