Headlights

I have a 1994 Camry Coupe V6 and the headlights have this "yellowish" color. Is there any product or something that I can use to get them nice and clear again.

Thanks for the help.

It's oxidation. Try a plastic polish. But, if it's bad you'll need something more aggressive. I've had good luck with an aluminum polish followed by the plastic polish.

And, try a search. Lynn did a post on this exact subject about 5 weeks ago.

Agreed, then protect with a polymer or wax to add more shine to them as well as protection. Good Luck!

FYI, you can buy the Novus 2oz kit at The Container Store for $9.

I have had good luck with wet-sanding with 2000 grit followed by 3m Perfect-it fine rubbing compound.

For just yellowed lights though the Novus kit would probably work.

If polishing doesn't completely cure the problem, have you taken apart the assembly and cleaned from the inside? I was amazed at how much of a dirt film was built up on the inside of my sealed headlight assembly. After cleaning the lights were brighter and worked better. Just another thought.
