Yes it is, I had a lot of overspray on the red Camaro and worked great. Better then the bars

When I use my nanotowel, I find that it doesn't work as well to remove the iron particles from the paint as my clay bar does. I start using the towel, then wipe down to dry and find quite a few orange spots still on the paint. Break out the clay, and remove, (well, removed as quickly as a clay bar does), the spots. It really doesn't take that long. Maybe I'm not using it right, but it seems like I am, just not getting the results that I was hoping for. Lately I've been using the towel to clean what it can on the panel then go over with a clay bar. I still think even using this process that by using the towel it speeds up the time it takes to remove the contaminates.
