Hi All,
The job I was hired to do for 3D International is nearly complete. In the next few weeks the HD Professional line will be bottled, packaged and ready to ship. So, it's time for me to start turning things over to the 3D staff to manage themselves.
Later today I will be training Marie on order processing and working in the forum. When you have pre-sales questions, order changes, shipping problems, special requests, etc... Marie is your gal. She's a car enthusiast, like the rest of us, so she will fit right in. I warn you right now, though, she's a feisty one, so be careful!!!
Later this week I will introduce Frank. Frank has been the one picking, packing and shipping your orders. So far, Frank has pushed over 500 orders out the door, with only one mistake (wouldn't you know it was an International order... D'Oh!).
Anyway, Frank is a lot more than just a great guy in the warehouse, he's also a master paint polishing technician. He's buffed out countless cars in professional body shops, and for the past few years he has been doing most of the training on 3D products for the professional customers.
Finally, the great news for last. Over the past few weeks, 3D created a complete, professional video studio in their secondary warehouse. Maybe you've seen some of the videos that were produced on the hdcarcare.com product pages. The founder and owner of 3D International, Tunch Goren (we call him Tony), will be producing regular videos on the chemistry behind car detailing products. Tony has his degree in chemistry from some stuffy, snooty university in England, but don't let that fool you, he's very knowledgeable and he's going to share it with us.
If you're wondering what's next with me, well, Autopia.org's 10th anniversary is right around the corner. That's right, just about 10 years ago a few of us met for the very first time on a forum system hosted on Bravenet. Believe it or not, many of those original members are still on Autopia.org today.
Starting 30 November I will be working full-time on revamping Autopia.org.
:hifive:
P.S., If you ever get word that I'm thinking of being involved in the development of another brand of car care products, someone just shoot me!!!
