I almost gagged today with Billy Mays latest infomercial ... remove scratches with a pen :wall
it's so bad that you can still see the marker he leaves behind on the cars :crazy: who is going to buy this stuff :huh:
 
I never thought much of him. I know he pitched Orange Glo that became a successful mainstream product but not much else.
 
One of the great things about not being a big TV fan is having never watched a Billy Mays commercial. :bigups

If it isn't played with a ball or doesn't have wheels, I'm probably not watching it. :)
 
He use to live near me, now with all that money he's making he moved to a Tampa high end neighborhood.
 
Yeah he marketed Oxi-clean and that orange stuff, it works. Mighty Putty is alright, not as good as they make it seem, but it does work.

But the Sham-wow guy looks like he's on some hardcore drugs or something....."it's made by the germans, you know they make good stuff" hahaha
 
The whole shamwow commercial is a parody with the guy with the headset of the guys you see at state fairs who sell various products (steamers, knives, choppers, etc). My guess it is to make it stand out from other commercials.

Do NOT disrespect the Mighty Putty! I used some once to make a watertight seal on a swimming pool valve after some careless A/C installers broke off the grease cup.

Ok, to be honest, that was some plumbers epoxy putty I had bought from Home Depot. But Mighty Putty could have done the job.
