I have seen that Eagle One Wax As U Dry.. anyone spent the money on it yet? do you plan to? what have been your results?

Also, have you seen that Pennzoil stuff that you spread all over your car, inside and outside? paint and plastic? very curious...

anyway, inquiring minds got to know...

I recently got some of the E1 "Wax...Dry" spray, but I've yet to use any of it! Smells kinda like Meguiar's Quick Wax and QD mixed together though. I'll give it a good whirl soon enough though!!

:xyxthumbs

Nice Lightning BTW!!

I've got a job this weekend doing a car for a guy that tried to save some time by using that stuff. He said that it worked for about a day before it looked just like it did before. I guess if you want your car to look real good for the cruise around town that night then it might be a good thing. Either way, if it was so good then why is this guy hiring me 2 weeks later to come out and do his car right? ;)

Good to hear I'm not alone :D

Hope my truck is sooner though. Maybe next year. I don't want to get it too soon because if I can't make the payments...

I bought the L as a replacement/downsizing to getting rid of several vehicles.. I had read a bit about them and all but I have to tell you, not gloating here, that its really the best vehicle I have ever had.. what else will accelerate, turn and haul 5000 lbs? as of right now nothing will.. I use it as a truck but enjoy the other aspects.. I have done a few mods, none to the engine except a K&N filter..

As far as getting out of Utah.. uh, I go there on business frequently.. I understand ya... but I am not much of a Nawlins person either.. people are great there but too much time in the Qtr and its just downright dirty/nasty... leaves a bad impression.

If you get a chance, spend a few minutes over at F150online at the Lightning forum and you will see some real L addicts..

Its ok. I read that post, slammed my nuts in a drawer, and I was fine. ;) I dreamed about having an L the other night. Pure pain. I'll be interested to see what kind of numbers this new Dodge can put down. Maybe Ford will improve their current version to match it. I say that Dodge can make whatever they want. In the end a Lightning is still a Lightning.

I've tried it, and it does work. No, it doesn't last long, especially after another wash, but it's good when you want to add a quick shine. It doesn't streak like a traditional QD can, as long as you don't use too much of it (I never tried it in direct sunlight, though). I usually spray on the wet car, wipe with one towel and follow with another towel. From what I understand, you can also use 3M Perfect It Gloss Enhancer on a wet car. I've used 3M PIGE on a dry car and found it streaks (almost smears) more than others. Maybe the trick is to use it wet! :D RobD

Have you seen what they are doing with the next Cobra? I think its the 2003 version but it might be the '04. I can't remember. I saw the numbers on it once. DAAAAAYYYM!! They are putting the Lightning engine in it. Hmmmm... That motor in an L makes it go faster than hell so putting it in a car that weighs less would make it..... ZZZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!!!!! Can't wait. They should have thought of this a long time ago. About time they put a supercharger on a Cobra. Now they just need to go back to the "pre '99" body style and I'll get one. ;)

I'm not sure about the lightning motor but the 2003 cobras are bada$$. I've seen them dyno between 390 and 440hp! and the torque band is nice and long! A real killer!

I wanna see what the new 2004 mustangs will look like. I might want one of them instead of an L.

That commerical really makes me laugh, not at the product but at the paint on the hood of the car. Watch it very carefuly next time. There is orange peel right where the person is wiping the car, i noticed it right away.

EO does make good stuff, surprised they did not catch that before it went on TV.

WHOA!!! i'm glad i'm not the only one that noticed that. it took me two times viewing the commercial to notice it though. i knew something was funky from the get-go, but couldn't point it out. i haven't used the stuff and dont really intend to. the results cant last too long.

I haven't tried it yet, but I picked up a 4 ounce bottle at Wal-Mart for $0.47. Yep, 47 cents. It was the only one I could find, but somehow it was on the shelves. I would have bought several (at over half the cost per ounce of the 18 ounce bottle!), but there were no more. The only thing I could figure is that it got away from a pack of something that has a free sample of Wax-as-you-dry. I am anxious to try it, and when I do, I'll be sure to report the results!
