hard water spots on windows

What can I use to get rid hard water spots off the windows. Regular glass cleaner does not get all of them out?

First try some vinegar/water solution. (50/50)

The next thing you can try is an abrasive, there are glass/plastic cleaners or you can try swirl removers that you would use on paint.

I had good results by using 0000 steel wool and Stoner's. Took a little time and patience but it worked great! Just put a second coat of PG on the Avenger, dark polo green, really like the

results.... Works excellent on the wife's Silver 02 Altima!!:bounce

I don't know why a lot of good products fail to pick up traction on this forum, but here I go again. The best product I have seen for removing water spots from windows is Diamondite glass system. It is based on a clay foam that is worked into the glass with a scrubber included with the product. It really does more than steel wool or any mineral deposit cleaners in removing or at least diminishing water spots on windows. The web-site is WWW.diamondite.com

I don't know why either (re: traction) Perhaps some shameless shill with an incentive program and hidden agenda needs to show up (j/k) ... :D  :D

YES, the foam has suspended clay and it works really well with that Scotch Brite "like" scrubber (soft foam side can even be used with the clay-spray/foam for some paint issues if so desired). The bonus of getting a good polycarbonate protection layer (good for around 6-months) that hides small chips (they better be small) is excellent. Works for me... :)

The only bummer is turning into a “glass clean freak from using the stuff!
