Is it just me or do you guys find that polish is hard to remove.(i use megs #83, 83, and SMR. seems like all are relatively hard to remove)

When I use #22 high tech yellow I find that stuff is a dream to remove.

It could be my technique though.

I ussually do the whole car and then I go back to where I started and start to buff off the polish with a big microfiber.

Is that a bad way of doing it. I should probably try and polish one panel at a time and then remove. Could it be Im letting the polish dry for 2 long.

And I ussually really work the polish in. I'll go over one panel once to spread the product with the PC on speed 3 then I crank it up to 6 and go over the panel 3 times horizontaly and 3 times vertically using relatively constant motion. Is this a good technique?

How long you work the polish sorta depends on the polish. Some like #83 are supposed to be worked until they "disappear" or "turn to powder", others aren't worked as long.

Sometimes you have to go over a panel again and again and again to get it marring free with a PC. It can literally take hours.

I'd only do one panel. Work the polish. Wipe off what's left. Inspect. Repeat until the panel is looking good.

Most any polish will be harder to work with than a carnauba like the #26 (you did mean #26, right ;) ).

Maybe try different polishes and see if one works better for you than others. I like the 1Z and 3M lines myself.

Any experience with VM? How much should that be worked in?

VM is very easy to work with, either by hand or a PC. I just used it this past weekend and applied it to the whole car with a PC and finishing pad. Just apply it like a wax. You can either buff it off a panel at a time, or do the whole car and then buff it off with a MF. I did the whole car and buffed it off by hand with no problems.
