Thank you to all our troops past and present who have served this great country and protected our ideals of freedom, justice and liberty for all
 
On this Sabbath Day, I would like to take a moment and think about my dear Dad and his brothers, who all served valiantly in wars before us..

My heart and undying love to Vicente, George, David, Paul, and Mariano Franco..

You have all been together in the world of Spirits for a little while now..
I hope your reunion was sweet and the combined love you shared that I witnessed as a little kid, will go on forever..

You were then and will always be the greatest men I am so blessed to be a part of..

Thank you. Much of my family has supported the military my Uncle was in the Korean War, another in the Vietnam war, my Father served 3 tours in Vietnam, I served during Desert Storm and was lucky enough to avoid the was zone. You would be amazed at the number of hours a day a military puts in. Always on call 24/7. The divorce and suicide rate is off the charts. Always putting country in front of self. Pray for them and push your legislators to support veterans and their survivors.
 
Remember all that Memorial day is for those that paid the ultimate price. Veterans day is for the rest of us who served. Here is to the brothers/sisters who gave it all.Thank you
 
First Memorial Day without my grandfather, a USMC Captain and survivor of 4 tours in Vietnam. I always looked forward to calling him on this weekend. He set an impeccable standard to aim for and he will always be my hero.
