Over the years I've used a ton of QD products, last week I came across Eagle One and it's the best I've tried so far!

My Ranking:

1. Eagle One Wet Wipe N' Shine

2. Wax Shop "Slick Stuff"

3. Zaino Z6

4. Mothers Showtime Instant Detailer (smells like Cinnamon sticks?)

5. Meguiars Final Inspection (34)

6. Meguiars Quik Detailer

7. Pinnacle Crystal Mist

Still need to try: 3M Perfect-It Gloss Enhancer (Am I missing a great product?)

Six of seven of my last vehicles have been black, so I have some experience keeping up a black car.

Eimann Fabrik Clear Pearl is outstanding! :up

I have tried many that appear on your list, but none compare to the Clear Pearl.

#1 Z6

#2 Griots Speed shine

#3 Meguiars Final Inspection

#4 Meguiars Quik Detailer

This is just what I have tried so far:)

Zymol Field Glaze when using Zymol Glazes.

Pinnacle Crystal Mist when out of Zymol Field Glaze.

Eimann Clear Perl when out of Pinnacle Crstal Mist.

Check out the poll section there is a lengthy poll about QDs. Cast your vote!

I love Zaino then Sonus then final inspection then EF CP

#1. Z6.

#2. PCM.

#3. EFCP.

#4. OGSO. Just as good as EFCP.

#5. EO

#6. WM&S.

#7. FI.

#8. WSSS. used it three years ago loved it, used a new bottle a mounth ago and i was very disapointed.

I love Eagle One Wet Wipe N' Shine. I use it a lot. I also love Meguiars #34.

I don't really like the Mothers Showtime Instant Detailer. Unless you get it off quickly is smears the surface.

I know Griots Speed Shine is not talking about alot on the forum but I really like it. I used it all the time on the show car. Next I would have to say McGuiars Final Inspection.

I really like Zaino Z6. It gives that super slick feeling. For caranuba based I like Pinnacle Crystal Mist, but it very pricey so I sometimes go with Clear Pearl.

They used to, but don't anymore.

Just this last weekend this guy at the New Orleans HotRod show was telling me about the Teflon in the wax.

That's unfortunate, because it looks like their "reps" are still using the old product terminology.

I just got three new WET products from the local Wal-Mart - WET paste, WET liquid wax & 4 bottles of WET QD, none of them mention Teflon anywhere.

I suppose it's possible there's some old product still out there that mentions it.

There have been a lot of claims, although I believe the general concensus among the Autopians is that Teflon won't bond unless high temps are used - like in excess of 600F.

I believe there are a bunch of threads on this, if you're interested in getting more of the "skinny" on it.
