Happy birthday ceedog!

About 6 months ago, I researched on this forum how to detail my two cars. I selected the Klasse system; in addition I learned how to dry (Water bandit / Charisma towels); learned to clay first; learned about foam applicators and MF towels. There is really a wealth of knowledge on this forum.

Just thought I would report on results after 6 months absence. Periodic washings were easy and the protection (beading and shine) was still there after six months. I just redid the process: wash, clay, one coat of AIO, two coats of SG. The results are again great. I used 1 ounce of AIO for each car, and a half an ounce of SG for each coat. Application and removal was simple, easy, and fast.

As a non OCD detailer, I am posting this as a thank you for those who helped me back then, as an endorsement for what I learned, and as encouragement to other novice detailers that with the right tools, this is really painless and a lot of fun.

BTW, my family and friends now believe that I am an expert; little do they know.

congrats on your good results!

I agree, this forum has given me the tremendous depth of knowledge of detailing..thanks to all :)

Thanks for checking back in and sharing your results. I learned about Klasse here too and have been very satisfied with its performance on my daily driver. Once I got past the initial learning curve for SG I'm able to put it down and take it off pretty quickly. :xyxthumbs

Thanks for all the kind messages guys! I really appreciate it! Thanks for the thread DC!! I'm here Barry! It has been too long. It's difficult sometimes with time and everything to get to more than 2 forums on a regular basis but it's great to see you guys.

Thanks again,
Corey
