Maybe I missed it, but has anyone tried the new Sonus from CMA, yet? Give us the details if you have. Enjoy!

Bill,

I have both the wheel cleaner and the QD spray. I tried the QD, and it works as well as the other QD products from CMA. I tried it over a BlackFire finish, not Klasse, so I cannot comment on how it works on the product it is supposed to be used with.

I will try the wheel cleaner Monday. The formula sounds really interesting.

Thanks, Dave. Being a tightwad, I'll probably wait till the next 10% off at Christmas, but I do want to try the Spritz on top on my Klasse. Enjoy!

Hey Bill, I tried Sonus last weekend for the first time and I liked it. I have a 2000 Chevy S10 that is black. I Klasse'd it about 3.5-4 Months ago and I have used a quick detailer every week since then, sometimes twice a week (One Grand Show Off or Clear Pearl).

After my normal washing and drying, I used 1 Viper Microfiber Towel and started using Sonus. It was very easy to use, like Final Inspection, it required no buffing. I sprayed an area, like half of my hood, then wiped it off with the towel. There was no haze left to buff off. It made the paint brighter, not very deep like Show Off, but it looked very nice.

I liked this product because it was very easy to use- it took me half the time with Sonus as it did with Show Off. The results were great, it looked like I just applied some SG. The only minus is the price, but I can overlook that with its easy of use.

Thanks V6. Now you have me all pumped up to try the new Spritz on my Klasse. I'm starting to apply 3 more coats of Klasse for the winter, this weekend. And although I have a shelf full of QD's, I do want to try this product.

I guess I'll just have to breakdown and order both Sonus products before the Christmas discount. Thanks to both Dave B. and yourself for the good reviews. Enjoy!

Bill, I was thinking of getting my truck ready for winter, but I sleep is a better idea right now. I have been getting up early and working late this past week because of Windows XP coming out. Oh well, I have plenty of comp time to take a long weekend.

I think you will Sonus, I am going to wash my truck again tomorrow, then quick detail it with Sonus and I will take pictures. I have pictures of my truck with Show Off so you can compare.

I got my Sonus today around 5pmEST. I had also applied a fifth

layer of SG this morning around 9am and the car hadn't been out of the garage yet but I couldn't wait to try the spritz. Is it me or is "spritz" an appropreiate name based on the fact I felt like I was in a hair salon as the smell of it floated around as I used it. It seems to have a variation of some sort from the fruity QDs I've used to date. I like the Sonus, not as heavy as the SO and maybe just a little heavier in consistancy than the FI. I've yet to Blitz my car for the winter so the Sonus is a good choice of QDs, for me right now. I like the way the MT glided across the paint with it and it seemed to buff out easier than the other QDs I've got. Hard to say with this first use of what it did for the shine, (although it did seem brighter) considering the above but my initial impression of it is very good and I'll be keeping it "in stock". I'd like to try it myself over Blackfire after it's available.
