Gyeon Line

I just was on the Detailers Domain site looking for a Adam's Hose Nozzel I was needed to get another of.

And guess what-They now have the Gyeon Line. I am so glad to be able to get this stuff from him.

Their service is tops notch, fast cheap shipping and I have attended their polishing school and it was a big help to me.

Nice having them 1 state away. Ground or flat rate when it offered shipping is Next day for me in NY !

Hopefully we get some new lines at Autopia too soon. This is great.

And... I'm late to the party again... I placed an order from DD for the kwazar sale an didn't see any gyeon.

I am getting ready to place a goodie over there, I will spend some time looking over some stuff. Expect a few questions.

The sio2 wash, is there any risk of locking in the contaminants if the car was coated say 6 months ago.

Wondering what it will do on top of the poish Angel Viking coat before the winter? Lease is up in February so nothing major before then.

Good for you! Glad you can now try it out.

Worked fine on my car. Loved it and love the overcoat (but only used both once)

Others are selling it too. A few months ago I heard at my local retailer that the exclusive distribution deal that Todd cooperider had with them was going to expire. looks like that was the case. I am tempted, but am really enjoying FK1000 at the moment, which I tried based on raves on this forum.

FK1000 is a great product. I used it early on in my evoloution of LSPs. Coatings are just too much of a time saver for me to ever go back to anything else. Currently EXO v2 is my favorite coating. I will be trying Gyeon next and I am just trying to figure out what to choose.

I have a few coatings sitting on the shelf that I have not used yet. This hobby is getting ridiculous as I need more cars to try the coatings on. Or I should just stop ordering stuff (won't happen).

Word has it there is going to be a new Gyeon-Us full distributor for Gyeon similar to CarPro-Us. And all these other companies will simply sell it as well.

All I can tell you is this:

Pricing is all very close on brand specific items and everyone runs their X% off now and again. If you have a big order (few hundred $) and call any of the distributors they will work with you.

Who you buy from is most important and I can tell you that Detailers Domain has the fastest shipping of anyone. Every single order I have placed has shipped the same day. Even orders after Noon. I placed an order Friday afternoon and was not expecting it until Monday. Saturday the FedEx guy delivered it. The packaging is great, no damage or leakage. Way back in the day I did receive a damaged Sviss Wax Pneu and it was replaced quickly. They have earned my business as a customer and a happy one.

Autopia is also good and Ray is excellent but shipping at times has been slow mostly because the orders don't leave the building for a few days. I don't know about you guys but once the order is placed, I want it already. (is there a big crying baby emogy?) I am also not one for joining clubs where you have to pay extra for service. I want the service for being a customer. I know there was a give away for the value of the connect membership but if its not something I need, I have 2 lockers full of detailing stuff already I wont use in this lifetime. I am looking for something better continually. its dumb, but its cheaper and less dangerous than many other hobbies I could have.

I think people deal with people they are comfortable with and who they can get expert advice when needed from. The short list of peope I count on for advice is:

Companies:
1. Autopia
2. Detailers domain
3 Car-Pro USA (Corey has always done right by me)

The people:
1. Ron H-who got me started on this in the first place
2. Mike Lambert who shares with everyone here selflessly
3. Phil from detailers domain who answers my questions via email in great detail
4. The AF forum crew who have been great
5. Todd H-the man the myth the legend-still miss his epic posts.

I have heard good things about some of the products, but I'm not jumping in that pool yet.

Super durability is what I am after with tight beading.

I got confused somehow... It's the Kamikaze coatings I'm considering for next time around on my car. Looks like good stuff.
