Gyeon bathe +

I use this once a month to maintain my gyeon can coat. Regular wash I use car-pro intensive wash...

Bath+ works well and it does leave behind the Sio2 protection behind. But you can`t think of it in comparison to any other foam soap where you foam and wash then rinse at the end. You really need to wash and rinse one panel at a time or you risk the protection leaving streaking that others have had. It is more of a maintenance soap as its not a super cleaner because it`s made to leave protection behind.

Ok I gotta chance to use this stuff to wash my coated truck yesterday....

My official review: It Sucks.

So, we`ve had about a month straight of rain here in PA & I haven`t washed the truck once. It was pretty filthy... True to form, there were areas on the lower panels that weren`t beading well - didn`t matter if it was before or after I washed them with Bath +....

So, the directions for this stuff say to use like 20 ml in a "bucket". Just how big a bucket - who knows???? So, I decided to use 2x that much. No great results...dumped in about another ounce - no great results. As a soap it`s just Meh as well.

On the converse, I grabbed my spray bottle of HydroFoam 1:9 and pretreated the panel before washing it with Bath +; the difference was night and day. Anything I touch with HydroFoam in a spray bottle beads like crazy.

I have Hydrofoam and Bathe+. I have not tried Bathe yet, but have found Hydrofoam to be a below avg soap but it does lay down some nice protection/beading. Disclaimer I now use hydro foam (and I am sure I will do the same with Bathe) after I have washed the car already with a real soap, I foam the car with Hydrofoam and give it a super fast 2 mitt both hands quicky wash before final rinse. I don`t use hydrofoam as a stand alone wash unless the car is basically only in the need of a quick waterless wash. Only part I like about it over just using spray and rinse (hydro2 or gyeon what ever it is or HydroBlue) is it seems to be a much more even covering with the foam/wash type.

curios, is that a regular trigger spray bottle or foam cannon or foam gun or pump sprayer or pump foamer??????? what are you doing, I always like trying new ways. If thats just normal trigger spray bottle that sounds super easy. My foam cannon method works but I am flying around the car like a mad man so it doesnt dry. Love foamer but its not very easy to try and use and do smaller sections.

I had to do some digging and conversions but I finally found the recommendation for 20ml:12L. After converting it I cam out with 3/4oz:3Gal. So me being me I rounded it up and figured 1oz:4Gal. But the. I usually use 1.5-2oz just to add a little extra and be safe.

I personally found the protection it leaves behind to be good. But the washing part is lacking. So if you ware really washing dirt off the protection seems to be lacking because it seems to bond to the dirt.

I have not used HydroFoam like that yet. But I will use Hydro2 at around 7:1 before if do my final rinse and it works extremely well. I think I will always have a place for Hydro2 in my lineup.

It`s just a regular spray bottle with a foaming spray head. A few sprays on a panel then rinse.

I guess you could say - just use Hydro2. However, I figure I`m doing this during the wash process - so adding more soap while adding more protection can`t be a bad thing. I wash in the garage - no problems with spots.

Have used it (Bathe+) on our coated cars, liked it but a bit out of the box as far as soaps go...very low sudsing but slick as heck.

Worked nicely for me but currently (trying, anyway) a `minimalist` approach to SiO2 toppers (Bathe+, Wetcoat, High Gloss, etc.).

Just wash with Bathe these days.

The first time I used it I hated it so much I called Geyon usa. It spotted my windows terrible with a weird smudge mark and spotted my chrome accents with the same. I got it off with a MF towel and pro polish plus a ton of elbow grease.

Turns out you need to wash small sections and rinse. By small I mean a door or 1/2 a good or roof and rinse. Same with glass. And it works fine. If your car is really dirty I like to wash with regular car wash 2bm and then use this product. My car was super dirty and I did a 2 bucket wash with bathe plus and feel it trapped some junk between the sio2 and paint.

Now that I have taken you through my learning curve. I think anyone would love this product.

Good luck.

Jeff

GYEON Q2M Bathe + Plus - 400 ml

Interesting soap. Looks like a good soap to maintain hydro blue. How does it compare to hydro foam? Looking for input on it. Thanks.

Agreed. Works best when washed with another soap followed by this one if the paint is on the dirty side.

I dunno. My results were different. While I agree it`s not a great soap for dirty cars - I washed the same panel multiple times with it and it added minimal if any beading....

On the other hand - a little bit of Hydrofoam sprayed on a panel was like night and day. So, I know I`m not crazy...

Like, I understand it`s prolly nearly impossible to make a traditional soap that can add coating type protection when used in a traditional manner at a reasonable price - but don`t sell stuff that claims that as well.

I`ll stick with Hydrofoam. Expensive but worth it.

My first foray into the Gyeon line - and it wasn`t good....

You know that`s weird. It works great for me and lasts many washes. Is your car coated ?

What I can tell you is you need to use it right after you mix it. I used it on my car and ran out of steam / time after a regular soap 2 bucket wash on the wife`s car. We had dinner reservations. . I put a lid on the bathe plus side and dumped the rinse Water. Because I wanted to save a buck ! And got up early the next morning to wash my wifes vehicle with Bathe plus from 12 hrs earlier. Not too much beading. I was pissed. Thought maybe it only works on Geyon coatings not Nanolex. Decided to dump and re mix a new batch. Boom. Worked perfectly, not sure why but the pot life is short.

i had all intentions on using the bathe+ sample this evening on my truck which is pretty dirty for autopian standards but i dont even want to clean my car tonight either
worn out from work

I`m embarrassed to admit I feel like I`m missing something. If it`s a car-wash-with-benefits that`s best used after a normal 2 bucket wash, what`s the advantage versus just drying with a topper as a drying aid, or even just hitting it with a standalone coat when you`re done for full effect?

I dunno...I used it as only wash soap when washing and had no problems. Cars never were horridly dirty at wash time though.
