Looks like they missed the wheel wells. :D

Looks great - just goes to prove that 9x out of 10, it's the person, not the product that makes the most difference. ;)

L @ @ K' s great to me. As pointed out by geekysteve, the wheel wells were over looked, other wise simply awesome! :bow

yeah, he didn't get around to photoshopping the wheel wells. ;)

Detail looks amazing. Is that Pro as in Pro wax products? I've been meaning to try out some of their products for a while now. Anyone have any experience with them??

I don't know... Looks VERY photoshopped for me... I'd say Contrast - Up... Brightness - Up, Gamma Up...

I've never seen a sidemarker light (cheeklight), tires and steering wheel glow so much that it starts to lose focus in a pic.

There's no way that a car pic, taken under mid-noon sun can still have such a clear image of the tile pattern underneath the car. How come the "before" shot has a totally dark tile pattern under the car?

I hate to be a party pooper, but the first picture shows the car when it was unwashed and dirty, so of course the clean "after" is going to look amazing in comparison.... The end results do look impressive though.

I don't know enough to really comment on the Photoshopping debate, but you can play with camera settings too.... think about Scottwax's pictures? (runs and hides in bunker....)

here is my photoshopped version of the first pic. I adjusted contrast, hue/saturation, burned the wheels, and then color corrected the image.

Sometimes you get pix like that without Photoshop .. just lucky light and angles.

This is with a cheap Sony 2.0 megapixels and *every* setting on its most neutral or automatic. But I agree .. it looks a little too exagerated.

Image what the paint looked like new off the showroom floor doesn't even come close to it, looks more like a high glossy no depth 1960 look that is on acid, way to glossy for me but hey art is in the eye of the beholder

I'm no photographer -- don't even own a digital camera.....

But isn't it true that different results can be achieved by "front end" adjustments too? -- i.e., when the pic is being taken. Light levels (including the use of lighting), shutter speed etc. Is making a vehicle look its best through front end manipulation bad form too?

What if the picture wasn't shot with proper settings? For e.g., a guy with his new camera mucks up the light settings, with murky results. Is it ok then to adjust brightness/contrast etc in Photoshop, or is that still bad form?

Tweaked photos aside, the Pro products work well for "professional grade, cost-effective" products. Sorta like products from ValueGuard and/or Meg's Pro line- aimed at pros, perhaps not quite in the same league as some "boutique" brands.

This photoshop stuff is very clever indeed, is there any way in which a person can determine if a picture has been altered?

It all depends on the person doing the manipulation. There are some that are incredibly experienced with photo manipulation and/or photo restoration that you would never be able to tell the difference. I did a quick job (10 minutes max) with that image and if I wanted to I could have spent a whole lot more time doing it and the person looking at it would never know. But, I didn't feel that it was really worth the effort, thus look at the front of the back tire you can tell that the photo was manipulated there. Due to how easy it is to manipulate a photograph some courts do not allow photo evidence.

The photoshopped photo took me about 1.5 hours, I was taking my time and I wanted it to be as realistic as possible. Here is a list of all the things I modified on the car: the car has been deseamed, audi graphic removed, door handle removed, turn signal shaved, the car has been lowered, the wheels have been enlarged, elongated the door, and also elongated the TT's roof.

Looks real except for the front tire, something just looks off about it... maybe if you bumped it foreward just a touch, looks like the top of the tire is hitting the wheel well there.
