Do I need clean the seals before I Gummi them? They dont look too dirty.

I usually clean with 1Z Deep Plastic Cleaner first.

+1 on cleaning them first, using whatever's appropriate for their condition.



And if there's any doubt about how clean they are, I'd apply the Gummi Pflege with something *other than* the foam applicator on the bottle, once you get that dirty/stained it tends to stay that way.



IMO it pays to work the product into tight spots/etc. with a cloth or swab anyhow.

I always have good results cleaning with IPA. Window trim, textured plastic pieces etc. No matter the dressing I use, it always seems to have a way nicer finish if I clean it with IPA. And the fact that my MF is completely black and in the trash.

i just wiped the seals down with a damp towel, but i like the ipa method better.



this stuff works really well. my 135i is known to have sticking seal issues in the winter, being that it has frame-less windows. I survived a NY winter with no issues.
