Jean-Claude

Keeper of the beautiful
This detail was designed to help the client sell his car as fast as possible. After consulting with the owner while looking at the car in person, we decided a level I paint restoration along with engine bay and interior detail would hit the spot.

2 Bucket Wash w/ Perls

p21s pretreat used for engine bay treatment, pretreat for exterior and door jambs.

Dried with forced air

This was many months ago so I can't really recall what was used on the paint restoration. :p

Your signature really does reflect your workmanship. Super!

For those tight areas, did you use a small brush to clean with soap then pressure wash it off?

Thank you for the kind words.

There are no absolutes, but in this case:

Applied a heavy layer of p21s and went to town on it with a bunch of different brushes. Because there were so many different types of areas to clean out in the jamb areas, no single brush was doing all or even near all of it.

Turned my electric pressure washer pressure down to maybe 50'ish psi. Just enough that it's more than a pump sprayer's pressure and enough to remove the debris knocked loose with my detailing brushes. In the area where the door hardware hung the door and meets at the bottom(where the skirt it) housed a METRIC TON of debris. I spent over a hour cleaning the door jamb areas not including the engine bay hardware/hood.

Great job! Love the shots of the different grunge spots before and after. It is a welcomed relief in the world of endless pics of swirls. :)

A result like this would make me want to reconsider selling it. I'll bet the owner was amazed at what some TLC will do! :brushteeth:

That's what he said. But he already had a new BMW sitting in the driveway as a replacement.

On a nice note, he said he sold it the next day for his asking price. :D THAT is one of those bullet points to being in this business that makes it all worth while.
