GTechniq C5 Wheel Armor Question

I read a review and some posts about this product. Sounds very enticing.

How would you clean the wheels after applying this product? If I used a wheel cleaner product, like Sonax for example, would it remove the coating of the C5?

I'm building my shopping cart and see that Sonax Wheel cleaner is on sale. But if I get the C5 maybe I don't need wheel cleaner?

Soap and water will be all you need to clean the wheels

You got it.

Once you have your wheels properly prepped and sealed you shouldn't need much more than soap and water. I even do this while using BF Metal sealant to seal my wheels.

In my experience, C5 is chemical resistant. You could use a wheel clean (not sure how many times) to remove it although, as mentioned in the thread, there should not really be a reason to use one after C5 has been applied. Let us know what you think!

C5 is fantastic. It is recommended that wheel cleaners not be used, but soap and water.

I find that it keeps most of the dust off the wheels so they are not hard to clean at all.

If need be for a bit of a stronger solution, a citrus cleaner like P21S Total Auto Wash can be used without ill affect.
