GSRstilez's 1996 Cinnabar Red Integra

Hey everyone... Well, I wouldn't call it a full detail, but its on its way.

This is my ride, just had it painted about 2 months ago (PPG Cinnabar Red) along with the body kit, spoiler, and a decent amount of shaving. I'm thrilled with how it came out, but I had a problem with fish eyeing on the rear lip. I sent it back to my body guy. He wetsanded, compounded and polished it out. While he was at it, he polished the WHOLE CAR with a rotary. I was thrilled to get it back with no paint blemishes whatsoever!

Anyways, I probably won't have time till Thanksgiving to do a full job so I did:

-Mothers Gold Wash

-Gliptone Carnauba Body Gloss (Almost like a Quick Wax)

The rims are new and have:

-1 Coat AIO

-2 Coats SG

I know there are no CrAzY reflections, but she is shiny and I have not posted pics of my car yet so I figured I'd do it on this boring morning at work.

Without further adue...

My custom Valentine 1 Install (OEM Clock used to be there)

When Thanksgiving week rolls around I will be doing AIO and 4-5 coats of SG including all the jams (doors, trunk, hood), full engine detail, full interior detail, and polishing the glass. My BD is the day before Turkey Day and I should be receiving my new Makita Rotary .:up

Thanks for viewing. All comments are welcomed.

Thanks for the compliments!

The V1 install is sweet. How'd you do that?

Thanks.

-I popped the OEM clock out.

-Unscrewed the clock so I just had the frame that goes in the location in the dash.

-Then I used packing tape (I think it was that) to hold the Concealed Display (add on from the Normal Valentine 1) in place.

My source unit (one that usually goes on your windshield) is mounted to my ceiling with an unobstructed 360 degree area. It's also great to since the speaker for it is now very close to my head so I can hear it over my exhaust and stereo.

Seems ghetto right? But it sure as hell works. Also, there is not much space behind the piece now so the pressure against the firewall helps it stay in. Been about 3 months and running with it and NO PROBLEMS. I'm happy :D

Hey, mine too!

That has to be one of the best looking Integras I have seen. Very tasteful mods, and beautiful color. Man, that is freakin' RED! :xyxthumbs

very sweet teg . . . I just got one a few weeks ago. . .its in dire need of a new paintjob. but that'll have to wait. . . .love that spoiler too!

david

you on Team Integra?

I think maybe I've seen your car on Honda-Acura.net before, maybe not. I love it. The wing is borderline for me though. Can't decide whether I like it or not, but gosh--it looks awesome.

That's the cleanest Integra I've seen in a long time (and I've seen A LOT)

Are you going to get the 97+ GSR tail light's, or do the J-Spec front end conversion?

My friend has a 3rd Gen Integra with the conversion, and wide body, it looks sick! The 400+whp helps too:D

THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR THEIR COMPLIMENTS. THEY MEAN A LOT TO ME.

IndigoGTI: Yup, November 26 is the best BD...Funny thing, my good friend, brother in my fraternity, and suitemate this year has the same BD as well. LoL.

Blue-Sun: Yup I'm on TI...GSRstilez as well over there. This site and TI are my two fav forums.

Corey Bit Spank: I'm on a bunch of Forums, but these pics have only been posted on Team-Integra.net and Autopia. The wing was big at first to me to, but I really think it fits the body lines and the body kit too.

Juggalo: Thank you! I am looking at my All Red Tails now. I am polishing them up, then Klasse AIO, Klasse SGx3 and THEN they will be on. LOL

The JDM Front end is nice, but there are other things I'd rather spend $3000 on... *cough*Supercharger...hehe

The JDM conversion is nice, but I think it makes the teg look too much like an Accord. Not that its a bad thing at all... One of the reasons I bought my integra was because of the styling of the front end. There is just something really cool about it that I like. I still haven't found another car that I would sell my Integra for. Sure there are faster and nicer cars out there, but when you are driving the car you like why change? :D

You've done some excellent work to that car dude. :bow :bow It looks great! Thank god you have a tint on it too. lol It drives me nuts when I see these cars with a few thou in mods on em and clear windows. Especially when they live in states that allow for a tint. You've done a great job and I wouldn't change a thing. :xyxthumbs

Actually, its 98 and up for the all red tails. GSR or not. It didn't matter.

Jngrbrdman: Yeah no tint was not an option. I have had tint on all of my cars, even all of my parents. haha. Notice my 35% tinted windshield as well.

You're right, 98-01 tails. However, I got http://www.autopia.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=29855<---Those.

C-MDX: For the antenna, front and rear "Integra" engravings on the bumper, all emblems, and rear keyhole shaved. Entire car repainted, but the doors (doors were in exceptional condition). All dents fixed. Body kit prepped and painted. Rear spoiler prepped and painted. Everything installed...

$1050

...I know its cheap, my body guy does it out of his house. I have used him sooo much and he does great work. He is probably one of my best finds, EVER.
