Griots vs. 3M...

I was searching around and came across griots machine polishes. Has anybody here ever used these polishes? Do they contain fillers? How are they at removing swirls? How do they compare to the 3M line in your experience/opinion? Can a novice use them without problems or is it a more advanced polish?:nixweiss

I have talked about this before, you could probably find it in the archives.

I have all 3 polishes, and never use any of them. I found them difficult to deal with, and got better results with 3m and meguiars

breakneckvtec, I agree with bjwebster, 3M is a better product to use in most cases than the Griot's Polish. I just recently used Richards #3 Polish on a customers Expedition. The end result was decent but I found it extremely difficult to use. If I didn't stop after applying polish to a 2' x 2' section and immediately (and I mean immediately) buff the polish off it would stick like super glue. I don't believe my difficulties were caused by using an excessive amount of product either as I didn't use more than a dime size amount on my polishing pad for each panel. Richard has some great stuff in his catalogs (albeit expensive) but his polishes are not my favorite.
