Griots under carriage spray.

DETAILED TODAY?
Got it bogo last week. I have used it before. No drama. A decent product. I sprayed it on semi-wet wheel wells. A little running, but nothing big. Decent coverage. But no way this would replace my megs HD 4:1
 
How does it compare to CG - Bare Bones?

I did a side by side of Griots and Bare Bones and Griot's was oiler and Bare Bones seemed to spread more evenly but similar...oily.
 
Griots has silicone. Bought a bottle myself then read the label and have never used it. In my defense, I bought on AG or Autopia, so I couldn't see the label prior to purchase. :cool:
 
Griots UCS is my go to for cars shows. It makes my wheel wheels and suspension parts look fantastic. Trust me you don't want to get it on your driveway.

Interesting, do you have any experience with CG - Bare Bones or Megs HD?

LOL. So true. Solvent based. Thats why i like megs HD. Safe on driveways!
 
I like and prefer CG BareBones. It smells decent, and works well. However, I have plastic wells, so I may use new formual UTTG next time to try it out, see if it can hold up better.

And i wanted to add, Megs HD mixed 4:1, you will get many 32oz bottles out of a gallon. Were as griots and BB must be used straight.
 
Love to see some side by side comparison pictures of Griots vs Megs vs CG BB. I've never used an under carriage spray/ am interested in the difference they'll make.
 
I use Meguiar's Silicone Free Dressing (D161) at 4:1, works great for me. Not oily, nice and dark, and doesn't seem to attract gunk.
