Griots New Drying towel

These pfm towels are awesome! Becoming my favorite towel for drying, removing lsp, finishing glass. These are truly Pure Freaken Magic.

I saw them at AA and ended up getting for around $5 each. I have 4 and will be getting more when ACC has a good sale. Wanted to test before I bought a load of them.

When I dry my process is:

If I have a car with a good LSP:

1. Sheet off
2. Master Blaster
3. Blot dry

Poor or dying LSP:

1. Loads of towels make no difference if it is a good or bad towel

Id like to think the RW is streaking. How a towel caused streaks I dont know...unless it was too wet to pick up the residue. Of course a different towel may help with process of elimination.

I usually go over my car with d156 cause it takes me less than 5 minutes to do my whole car. Plus d156 doesnt streak.

How does this towel compare to a poorboy`s 24 x 36 Waffle weave.. I know the GG is not waffle weave, but just curious. Trying to find the best drying technique for my black sierra since it is a larger vehicle.

I have a leaf blower that I use to dry first. Think I will be good with the poorboy`s WW that i am waiting on in the mail?

I have a double cab sierra and can dry mine with one 16X16 PFM towel but it always has a good layer of lsp on it. I dont have a poorboys ww but neither the dry me a river or cobra worked as well for me.

Mine is a crew cab - still not much larger though. I am thinking the WW along with the leaf blower should be a decent combo. I did have the GG WW but it got mixed into a wash that I had not intended and also thrown into the dryer on high heat. Before that though, it still wasnt amazing and seemed somewhat rough and questioned if it was inducing marring. Though, it could have been the way i cared for the towel or someone drying it without my knowledge.

Will try out the PBW WW and see how it goes. If not, I may have to pick up 1 or 2 or 5 GG towels.

I use a blower for all the areas that hold it first also. I would bet 2 of the 16X16 will do it easily. I have a GG ww with the pockets also and would have to wring it out and use a smaller ww to wipe behind it. I can use 1 of the large PFM towels to dry my truck or the 2500 with utility bef for work and never wring it out after a 2B wash. The towel will be much heavier but never gets to the point where it is dripping water. As always YMMV
