I think Griots has some really good products. Love the Speed Shine, Wheel Cleaner, Rubber and Vinal Dressing, even the Leather care is nice.

So what's your opinion on there Best of SHOW wax for Depth, Color and Clarity?? Some of their products are relabled but their wax is something they actually make. I personally found it difficult to remove but the Customer Service rep said I had to let the wax dry to a have which could take an hour. Haven't tried it yet.

Looking for other opinions on thd BEST of SHOW wax

Its ok, hard to work with. Id say its a very warm wax, very carnauba-y. Id say that I like Blitz more. Wetter, brighter, and much easier to work with. I also just got some P21S and am gonna use it this weekend.

I have used it on an black car, It looks good for a while, doesent last long...... I think that there is better choices out there for the same or lower price:wavey

Not the longest lasting wax....but if you wash and wax as often as I do (car lives outside), weather permitting, I think it is a great wax. Very easy to use with a PC Orbital and personally I find that it does a real good job in Depth, Color and Clarity. In the fall, I will put a coat or three of Klasse over it to hold it over thru the winter.

I have yet to be disappointed with any of Griot's products that I have purchased.

HTH:)

More of a matter of opinion perhaps. I think I may pick up a new tin of Blitz too this year and do a side by side on the hood of the car between the two and see how they fare against each other.

It's hard to remove, but it gives a "tough as nails" finish that still looked freshly detailed with good "beading" 2 months later (after 8 weekly washes with the wash-'n'-wax).

I would recommend it.

I was a dyed in the wool Z-man for the last two years. Just bought brand new vehicles and both had swirls and surface scratches right out of the showroom. Decided it was time to begin detailing with a PC orbital, so I bought the whole kit from Griot's. I love their pads-virtually impossible to burn paint, even for a newbie like me.

There is no glossy shine like 5 coats of Z2, but I am hooked on Griot's wax. The color and clarity are incredible-I could not get this with Z2-ever.

I heard that their wax isn't very good. Your supposed to apply it with a buffer but i havn't done it so i odn't know. They do have some other good products like their spped shine

I have had a bottle of the Best of Show wax sitting in my basement for a long time. I have "tried" it a couple of times without any success. It was nearly impossible to remove. No, I didn't wait an hour or two to remove since the instructions don't indicate that.

I figured I had received an old bottle or a bad batch and should just send it back for a refund.

...I wouldn't bother with the stuff. Griot's does offer some other excellent products and toys. I have purchased stuff from them for years.

I agree that it was difficult to remove at times, but when applied with the PC my results were excellent on my Accord. I found that applying 3 coats at a time left a great long lasting shine. I did this every two or three months. The shine definitely got better with multiple coats like Zaino, which I have recently switched to on the MDX

The white dust was bad, you couldn't breath when you came in afterwards and it always required extensive detailing in the seams to get rid of the white stuff.

Until finding Zaino, I would say I was very pleased with the results.

Unfortunately, Klasse will not bond over any wax (or oil/silicone) at all. You'd best put the Klasse on before Winter sets in and then you can wax as a topper to provide some warmth (assuming that's the look that you're going for).

I use the Best of Show Wax and love it..... You have to also use the Fine Hand Polish first though. This combo works very well and lasts.I also use the Blitz Wax along with the 3M Imperial Hand Glaze on some cars.

I love this stuff. The P-car wasn't beading when I washed it, so I finished with a coat of the paste, and voila! The car looks "the best". I've also used Souveran and Meg's Gold Class, but I like this more.

And, it wasn't as hard to remove this time, since I waxed over the Blue Coral wash/wax (contains carnauba) rather than the A-I-O/SG last time.

When using the Girots Best of Show Wax, it is highly recommended to use the Fine Hand Polish first. This combo, when applied correctly will give a very beautiful and long lasting shine.

I use this on my 1983 Porsche SC Targa and it is a daily driver.

I also use and highly recommend the 3M Imperial Hand Glaze with the One Grand Blitz Wax for daily drivers.I am a Professional Porsche detailer, I only do Porsches, the last concours my cars took 2nd, 4th and Best of Show.I have to use what I can get the best results with for the money, there are other waxes out there that get outstanding results but are out of my price range for what I charge, Griots is about the most expensive I can afford.
