I been going though autopia to gain some knowledge about detailing for quite a while. So I finally decided to create an account.
Introduction:
My name is Mike, i'm 22, and I currently live in LA. I just moved into the LA area last October. I use to live back in Las Vegas where I spent my whole life. About the age of 14 I started getting into automobiles I was always fascinated about how they worked and their appearance. I love cleaning cars and making them shine, and just sit back and admire my work. I always use to wash my fathers 69 Dodge Charger for car shows. Until he sold it,:faint2: he would always pay me for washing it his vehicles.
He taught me how to detail cars and make them shine and stand out even more. How to do paint correction,restoration,etc.My father also taught me to never give up on doing something that you love. And that, never let anyone tell you otherwise. :bigups
I've been detailing cars for two years now and I love it! Now that I have my own truck I wash it every chance I get.( When i'm not busy with school of course). I'm a hard worker, I work hard in school to get good grades. I help my family when they need it. I'm working on starting up a mobile detailing business. Since start up costs are very low. I'll post that in a different thread later. I am here to learn everything about detailing, meet new people, and help others that need help.
