Hi everyone. I live in Connecticut and it's starting to get really nice outside! I found this site when researching detailing techniques.

I've owned a number of older Porsches which were in need of paint correction or a good shining up. I always did a bunch of research and followed the techniques and the cars always came out looking pretty good. That was until I found this site.....Holy cow these guys are good!! I'm a down right hack in comparison! I'm now on a mission to step up my game.

I recently bought a black BMW 330i that has some issues. The previous owner scratched the clear coat everywhere. They also used touch up paint on scratches that are not through the clear! I'm talking scratches over a foot long! I wet sanded a test spot and was able to completely remove the scratch and obviously the touch up paint. I should probably take some before and after pictures to show you guys.

I also have a 1984 911 factory Turbo-Look coupe and a 1986 944 that's for sale. I'm starting to really get into detailing. Few things are more satisfying than taking a nice looking car that was neglected and making it look new again. Thanks for reading.

Greetings from another CT resident! My neighbor has a 74 turbo look 911 and the guy up the street has a pretty modded 992 C2!

Welcome!
