Green and Blue LC pads?

I'm far from a pro detailer, but I think have been doing a decent job of making things shine. :D

Anyway. I've been successful with the Megs twins as needed and final finishing with Blackfire GEP. My pads of choice have been LC orange, white and gray for polishing/finishing and gold for Wet Diamond application. I have used Surebuffs for the initial cut when things were really ugly, and they worked well when needed.

Now I'm curious when others have found the Green and Blue LC pads ideal for. I haven't "needed" them yet, but would like to hear some examples of when you would go to them to solve a problem.

The finer 'green' Euro foam pads are designed for AIO and Cleaner/Wax application, although I used to use them for rotary machine polishing when a 'light' medium polishing was needed.

The blue pads are primarily designed for wax application, but again, work well on a rotary for final polishing and jeweling (if the gray pad is leaving marring). The blue is softer then the gray pad and has almost zero mechanical action, so if you are final polishing on a rotary with it you will need to extend your working time to make sure the abrasives have broken down.

IMO, neither pad works well for polishing on a dual-action polisher because they are so soft that you need to compress them considerably to achieve any mechanical action.

For DA:
Green- all-in-ones and cleaner waxes.
Blue- Waxing or Sealing.

For Rotary:
Green- light-to-medium polishing
Blue- Jeweling on soft paint.
