Grand National Roadster Show

HotRodGuy, thanks for posting.

I am new to this site and really appreciate information about upcoming car shows in the US, as I usually visit the US at least once every year and try and get to a show.

I have visited Roddin on the River & River Cruizin at Laughlin NV on three different occasions. Bloody hot but extremely enjoyable.

yea, the laughlin shows are a good time. If you get a chance try to attend Hot August Nights up in Reno. It's unreal :)

HotRodGuy, thanks for the recommendation about Reno. Unfortunately August is not a good time for me to visit the US but I will keep the event in the back of my mind and look for any opportunity :)

I was in Reno about 10 years back when the Air Races were on. The displays of Classic Cars and Aircraft in the main street are very memorable.

Some of my favorites

this car just had me stunned, it was built by a young kid in Japan and shipped over for the show. Awesome guy, unbelievable talent.

Pictures don't even do that Merc justice. I just sat and stared at the paint forever, notice how he even painted in molding. Couldn't find the owner, but I'm sure i'll run into him again, he's a local guy. He owns a body shop.

That funny green colored roadster was really a site to see, the color just matched it PERFECTLY

some of the paint jobs on these things were just AMAZING, some of the condition of these paint jobs were just pathetic.

There was this bitchin black coupe that I wish I had pics of, needless to say, like about 80% of these cars it was trailered in. They brought it out of the trailer and all the tires were wrapped up in siran wrap and the undercarrage and all the mechanical parts were just polished out beyond belief, EXCEPT for the paint, the thing had probably the worst swirls I had seen on a rod. I couldn't believe it :lol

Great PICS, thanks for sharing them. The âہ“Rod Riguezâ€Â reminds me of some of the Ed âہ“Big Daddyâ€Â Roth designs. Your âہ“Subâ€Â looks good under the lights, itâ€â„¢s nice to see a driver in some of these shows.

yeap, unfortunately I got 2 HUGE rock chips on the drive to the shows, I literally watched the rock bounce off the hood and then hit the fender :(

Luckily I missed a giant dinning room table that fell off the back of a truck right in front of me. Needless to say it was probably the scariest drive of my life

That said, I have put about 10K on the truck now
