How do you guys ensure full and even application of vinyl protectant on grained/textured vinyl? What type of applicator do you use?
 
A terry cloth rag or a terry cloth applicator works for me.
Since I have so many old towels that were replaced by MF, I just cut some smaller pieces from a towel, use it a few times and throw it away.

I use the small, inexpensive foam paint brushes you get at Lowes or Home Depot. They come in all different widths so you can match it to the size of the trim.

After the dressing sits, I wipe with a towel.
 
I agree with Charles on this one.
I have tried many things and keep coming back to cut up pieces of terry cloth.
When applying Natural Look or other water based dressings I find that dampening the cloth with water helps too. I also use terry to apply thinner coats of dressing to tires.
