Got ym new LC CCS pads in the mail today...an observation

I ordered a Yellow, an orange and a blue pad.



My first observation is that the yellow pad seems to be a different, more spaced out foam then the previous LC pad.



My question is: is the new pad more/less effective then the previous generation?



I found myself going to the original yellow pad often with the PC, but now I'm a little hesitant because the new pad looks a bit "rougher".





Also, what is the benefit of having the spaced out indents on the pad other then looking neat?
 
I just got the same thing. I ordered one yellow pad (among others) from Danase that seemed fine. Then I ordered two yellow 4" spot pads. Not only is it rougher in texture but the CCS pockets are off. One has the CCS pockets deeper than any of my other pads and the other has them shallower. I bought other 4" LC CCS pads at the same time (orange and white) and they looked fine. I contacted customer support and they are supposed to get back to me.

I'm not using mine. I bought mine through AG, they are supposed to contact me about the pads. Try contacting customer support through the vendor you bought them from. I would rather get a refund rather than burning some paint off.
