Got to love single stage paint

I love polishing single stage paints. This was an older BMW M3 which I will be posting an extensive write up on when things cool down.

Makita speed 2 / Orange Lake Country / M105 (old formula)

I polished very S L O W L Y...original 20 year old paint here.

This is after only M105. Im going back this evening to hit it with 205 then possibly jewel with 085, then some Swissvax Concorso. I think it should pass.

The door is finished with its heavy polishing with M105, the quarter needs another pass.

The entire car took 6hrs to cut into. Lots of thin paint and edges to be careful of. I expect this to be a marathon correction.

looks good.

I 've worked with SS paints before and , personally, find it more gratifying and rewarding.

You're right , though, in that you have to be more mindful of what you're doing,

but the end result is just so worth the time and effort.

Show us more of this when you can.
