Got my PC today, and I've got some questions

Hey all, I got my PC today finally WOOT!

Anyway, I was testing it out on my car with some SSR2 with the white pad it comes with. It did take down some of the swirls (I wasn't expecting it to anyway), but that's not the "problem" at hand. The PC seriously like jars my arms. It doesn't like bounce up and down or anything, but it seriously shakes the **** outta me. It's where I know that if I wasn't just testing it in a small spot for 30 seconds that I wouldn't be able to stand it for hours when I use it for real. Any ideas as to why this is, or is that just how it works? Thanks.

Oh, and I'm also going to be using 6.5" lake country pads. Do I need to get a larger counter weight? (using what comes iwth the 7424 stock).

I really don't think it will make any difference if you have the 5" or 6" counterweight. I have a 5" weight and use a 5" backing plate and run pads from about 6" to 7.5" w/o any problems. The weights come into play more if you're using it as a sander:
