I cant wait! After years of not knowing WTF I'm doing... I have been reading these forums since January and am ready to apply my newly ordered Klasse! To bad its raining. Now for the question.

If I apply Klasse AIOX1 then SGX1, can I still drive the car tonight if its raining? Will the rain do anything bad to the uncured SG? Thanks in advance!

Drive away, my friend. Drive away.

The thing to know about the two: AIO goes on with DAMP applicator, SG goes on with DRY applicator. I did my AIO yesterday; when I do it, I dip my applicator in a bucket of water, then squeeze it out. Apply a nickel-sized drop of AIO onto the applicator, and apply to a 3x3-ish area. Go in one direction, not circles. Front-to-back is recommended. Anyhow, you can apply and immediately remove, or apply the whole car and remove at the end. I prefer method 2.

Now to the SG. It's a MUCH more finicky produt to remove. Recommend to let it sit for several hours before attempting, just to save some work. That might change whether you will be driving the car tonight. :) But after putting on the SG, your car shine and have AWESOME durability.

Some people will say that the SG's durability will be compromised by getting wet (quite a bit of "wet" if you drive around in the rain). In a perfect world, I would say heed the mfg. directions and give it time to do it's thing before it got soaked. We all know that sometimes you gotta drive though. You could either add another coat of SG in the next few days, or just AIO it until you get a free & clear day to put the SG on where the rain won't be an issue.

Good luck whatever you decide.
