The Insanityâ€â€œThe Ride will be located on the Stratosphere Tower, the largest freestanding observation tower in the United States and the tallest building west of the Mississippi River. The new ride will hold 10 passengers in âہ“escape proofâ€Â seats as it spins at 40 miles per hour. The key to the ride is that riders experience the centrifugal force out over the edge of the Stratosphere Towerâ€â€œoverlooking the City of Las Vegas more than 900 feet below.

Insanityâ€â€œThe Ride consists of an arm that pivots out 64 feet over the edge of the Tower that will spins passengers at up to three âہ“Gâ€â„¢sâ€Â of centrifugal force. As the ride spins faster and faster, the riders are lifted up to a 70-degree angle. The passenger seats begin to lift up from the âہ“Gâ€Â centrifugal force. Riders will experience the thrill of going over the edge be literally facing downward at the City of Las Vegas below as they spin at three âہ“Gâ€â„¢s.â€Â The ride is programmable with various ride options.

I'm willing to get on any ride at amusement parks but this one would really make me think twice before stepping on.

Wow, I'm just imagining that puke spiraling down 900 feet to the sidewalk....

No kidding; it would be my luck that if I were ever in Vegas, I would be walking under the ride just as a couple of people threw up.

You know I just noticed something...the color of the ride...neon green and a blueish/purple. It looks like an angry bottle of NXT!!

Has this color combo come to mean "XTREME"?!?!?!

Definitely gotta try that.

The âہ“High Rollerâ€Â coaster is no great shakes. Itâ€â„¢s small, slow and well in from the edge so when you look down all you see is track and fencing.

The âہ“Big Shotâ€Â is cool, that one gives you the feeling of dangling your feet into space.

Havenâ€â„¢t been there since they built the X-Scream.

I'm with TW. I have no fear when it comes to amusement park coasters, but this thing is more like an 'insanity' thing, than a bravery thing.

I generally like most all roller coasters. I could even see my self trying out skydiving in the future. But I dont know if I like this ride much... lol... maybe a bit too insane for me.

Fear of falling and heights...I can't even stand on a chair without a funny feeling!

No way I could do this ride. The thing that shoots you up and then drops you at Six-Flags still gives me the creeps from riding it... Didn't they have one of these on the Stratosphere in Vegas?
