This is on a black car, paint is about 4-5months old. The SMR and PC are working great, they dont take care of all the swirls but a big part of them, I also had some hazing where the car wasnt buffed right. Heres a few question I have, any help greatly appreciated:
1. I'm doing 2x2 areas at a time, how long do you hold firm pressure with the PC? I let up some when the SMR starts to thin out a bit.
2. Whats best to follow up with after SMR? I've got Zaino, Meguires #7, Imperial Hand Glaze and an assorment of waxes.
3. Do I need to wash after the SMR? I'm doing this slow, because of my schedule, a body part at a time.
4. I'm having trouble seeing what i'm doing in the black paint. The swirls only show in certain angles in the sun. Would it be best to get a Halogen light or something and do it in the Garage?
I'm using a yellow foam pad from autozone. Thanks for any help, stuffs working much better than I expected.
