Surprisingly, the local Wallmart has the 3M fine cutting compound, wich I bought.I'll be using it on a 7 years old swirled Integra.

Don't know what to follow up with.My choises are 3M finish restore or Meg.#9.

Wich one is preferable,if any?

Thanks.

IF 3Ms Fine Cut Rubbing Compound recommends using 3M Finish Restorer it will most certainly be a good choice. I have used Meguiars #9 after Meguiars #2 Fine Cut Cleaner and it worked well, but FCRC is probably stronger than Meguiars.

Not sure how strong finish restorer is, but I can tell you for sure that Meguiar's #9 is perfectly fine to use after FCRC. In fact, I've used FCRC followed by products even milder than Meg #9 with good results (P21S GEPC).

because the FCRC will leave fine scratches that swirl removers take out for the best shine. I guess I'm just fussy. But Meguiars recommended using #9 after using their fine cut cleaner. Didn't regret the choice.

Thanks guys.I'll go and check out the Finish Restorer and if it doesn't specify that it should be used after the FCRC,#9 it is!

Only place that caries #9 in the sorry place I live sells it for $12,is this much?

Anything I should use between #9 and Zaino?

I was thinking to use Meguiars Cleaner wax once,in case it's more than a glaze.

Based on what I know about Finish Restorer, I'd be more inclined to use #9. Finish Restorer has been re-named or replaced by One Step Wax Medium Oxidation Remover. Here's a link to some info I got from 3M about the 2 products you're using and there's a link to a review of this product.

I seriously doubt any of 3M's products would give any recommendations about using product Y after product X, but I think a swirl remover would be the next logical step. I think $12 for #9 sounds about right (or good enough).

Prior to Zaino, you might want to either Dawn wash or use a pre-wax cleaner (like Z1), not the cleaner wax, because you don't want any oils or waxes interferring with the Zaino.

I thought the Cleaner wax may have some finer compound than #9.Another reason I mentioned it is,I don't really have hopes to finish it before winter and I wouldn't want to apply Zaino only to take it off whenever it'll be possibile to get it done.

Friday is supose to be warm and I'll work on it but I doubt it can be done in one session by hand.
