Good tire cleaner but safe for wheels?

I am getting a set of coated aluminum wheels. I have been using mean green, or purple stuff to clean tires.

I was wondering what kind of cleaner can I get that will clean the tires very good along withwhite letters. I DO NOT want to ruin these wheels.

Thanks

You may just want to use your wash water.

I've etched my wife's wheels a little with A2Z, and I will forever regret it. I now use Orange Blast full strength. I do still use my remaining stash of A2Z on my car, but it seems I could leave A2Z on my car for hours and it not bother them, but the Ford double spoke that comes on the Focus just seems to be more sensitive.

I've found A2Z safe myself, and I always make sure not to let it dry out or dwell much longer than they recommend. I'm not sure which version Postwood has, but the old (black) bottle version was probably more dangerous.

Dedicated tire cleaners are okay to use. Search for some options if you want more info. I use Mothers Tire and Rubber cleaner myself.

Cleaning with scrubbing and re-dressing every wash seems to help reduce the amount of serious cleaning they require. Some people like to use a soft brass brush on white lettering IIRC....
