good sealant to use after #83/#82?

I jst got a new rotary buffer and Meguiars pads. It is my intention to use #83 and #82 since they go well with the pads. Both cars are dark color.

It is my understanding those products have fillers so:

1- do I need to use wash with Dawn or some cleanser before applying sealant?

2- which sealant would you recommend after #83/#82?

Many thanks!

To remove the filler go to the drug store and get a bottle of isopropal alcohol and mix it 50/50 with water and spray it on the car and wipe with a MF to remove the fillers.

Then proceed to apply your sealant. I have used Poorboys EX-P over both of those and had no problems with bonding.

Oh and no you do not need to use dawn or another cleaner, you can wash it again but most find that a wasteful step, always skip the dawn.

I power was the car after compounding beause of the splatter I get.

Where have you seen that they have fillers? Meg's uses oils in their formulas but they don't act as fillers, not in those products.

Meg's 21 is a very nice sealant to use.

If you want looks and durability for four or five weeks use Red Moose glaze, Pinacle Souveran X 2, and FX 425 as a detailer. Awesome looks! If longevity is a issue Zanio line is good or UPP Ultimate Paint Protector line is good. MHO

My order of preference

1) M21 - easy to use, good durability, priced right

2) Poorboys EX with carnuba, which I like a little better on dark colors

3) Menzerna FMJ will last a bit longer, looks similar to M21

4) Zaino if you are looking for durability

you put pretty much any sealant you like

you can stay with the meg's family or branch out..

I personally go to zaino or m21 w/ topper
