Good looking M3, Great looking photography

Yeah, he has a good eye. The lighting doesn't really show how nice/not the car is cosmetically, but he *does* know how to take a good picture.

If I nit-picked it to death the only thing I can criticize is his DOF/focus point on the one street shot where the trash can is in focus but the front wheel isn't (note that I am *NOT* saying I'd do any better!). But he gets the "vision thing" a lot better than I ever would....

I've seen these on like 12 forums now so I set my wife on them (she's a pro photog), needless to say she was impressed not only with the composition, but the quality of the guys gear (it's obvious the glass he is using is very nice, both L lenses and a 5D of course), and the color balance. There's obviously been some subtle and artfully done photophoppery, but that's not unexpected. She did seem to think some of the shots were a little over-exposed, but for her that's high praise. I think they look incredible.

On page 2 theres a shot of his gear. I'd say just by glancing at it that it's over 20k worth of stuff (5k 5d, 2x 3500 lenses, and about 10k of accessories). He's a pro foh sho.

i think the dof is probably enhanced in photoshop. it seems everything behind his car seems to have a uniform blur. probably used the lens blur filter with a custom alpha channel for that effect. nice either way.

nice pictures, i like the first sunset one the best.

i find it a little funny that nobody commented on how the engine is lacking in a nice detail.

Very nice. Love the first sunset shot also. But how do yoiu drive a car with all 4 tires at an angle like that?? Do they straighten out when you start driving??

I don't know whats hotter; the pictures or car

Thats one of the nicest M3s i've seen, complimented by excellent photography :cooleek:

I agree, I've seen some dof enhanced in photoshop before. I wish I knew how to do that, or anything else in PS, I'm terrible with it :(
