Well, I got my Poorboy's order in today and I get to try out the new Car Wash tonight on my black car. I love trying out new products! I smelled it and, to me, it smells like apples. LOL Not sure if it is suppose to or not. I will post a review here tomorrow morning. :phone:

I'm sure you will really like the SS & S!

Looking forward to the review.

Fine with me. I figured it would be. It was a little out of hand.

Review time:

Ok, I got home from work, cleaned my wash bucket out, mixed in some SSS and water and went to town! The first thing I noticed was the slickness. It is VERY slick and lives up to it's name. That is my first concern because my black paint scratches so freaking easily! It does an excellent job at cleaning as well. I got to test it on some bird sh#t on the roof and it came of with ease. I was a few day old bird doo doo too! My car was fairly dirty since I only wash it once a week and it cleaned up perfect. Another thing I noticed was it help reduce hard water spots that happen from my city water. I can not tell what it smells like. For a while I thought it smelled like flowers but then realized it was the wind blowing from my neighbors flower garden. LMAO So, anyway, this is an excellent product and is now my new car wash.

Ive got a question or 2. How is the rinsing process On black I have found that 9 out f 10 soaps leave a milky residue which is almost imposible to remove. How is it on the tough areas front bummper (AKA the bug killer). and drying was there any issues that arose during drying?

I guess this is more of a question for (Steve) but whats the PH on this product? Becasue as you said in your review that it left no water spots ...that alone is amazing and makes this a very desirable product I Might have to break down and buy some!

ph is 7 nuetral ...the water will sheet off and almost dry itself (check reviews by awd330) humidity will play a small factor in the drying time, but that's true for almost all products...and it is very slick ..thus the name:)
Super Slick & Suds

ps... it is now available through most distributors including the three that are sponsors on DC.... PAC, Autogeek, & Specialty Motoring:bigups

I have never had a soap leave a residue behind. The soaps I have used on the black car so far have been; Griots, some Cherry crap, NXT, and Poorboy's. Never had a problem with left over residue. That might be something in your water or maybe you let the product dry on the surface or sit too long maybe? But, there was no issues during drying.

The front bumper was covered in bugs from a road trip I took last weekend but I used Tarminator to get rid of those first.

It reduced the water spots for sure.

The bottle says it has a neutral ph level.

EDIT: And like Steve just said, the water seems to slide right off.

I am going to redo this review since I did not read the Art of a good review before I posted.

1. Packaging & Labeling. Is it well packaged? Are the labels durable? It is packed just like the other Poorboy's products. I like the clear round bottle cause it is easy to store next to my other products and I can tell how much product is left. The labeling is the same as the other Poorboy products as well. The label is not important to me, as long as I can read it and I always can so that is cool

2. Helpful instructions on label? Very good instructions on label.

3. Does product do what the manufacturer claims it does? Does exactlly what it is supposed too and what they claim.

4. Value. Is the product a good buy? If a liquid product, how much per ounce? Does a little go a long way? I feel it is a good buy. I used to lov Griot's car wash and this is a great replacement for Griot's and you get more product for the money. If I am remembering correctlly about double the product for the same price. I think you use one ounce of SSS per 2 gallons? GRRRR, I can't remember off the top of my head!

5. Easy to use? Hard to use? Did you read the directions and use as directed? I read the directions and used as directed and it was easy to use. I mean, is car wash ever difficult though? LOL

6. If known, what is the pH of the product? Is it safe for enthusiasts or should it be for professional use only? It says the ph is neutral on the bottle.

7. Describe the product smell, viscosity and other physical traits if any. Don't get me started on the smell! I can not figure out what it smells like yet! Seemed to be a nice thick soap and it is orange in color.
