Holly and I are thinking of getting on of the new Ford Explorer Sport Tracs. Does anyone have one? If so, how do you like it?

I don't have one, but it seems like a very good idea, half SUV/ half pick up.

I hope the picture you included was from another person. The wheels look blah! Well the cars you own wouldn't get that dirty!

Hope someone offers their advice that actually owns one,

Jason

This past week while in Dearborn working on some other projects, we went over to one of the Rapid Concern Definition shops and looked at one that was of a series produced which had a floor cracking problem.

They were working on a fix.

Apparently, it is only effecting one series of VIN numbers.

If you like, I can call and get the series.

Other than that, there are no constant concerns to be addressed and as I stated, only a few are affected.

Don't have any information on why it happened, but if you wish, will attempt to find out.

800-543-7156, we are on eastern time, and all but this Tuesday, the girls will transfer you to my cell.

Ron,

Thanks, I was aware of the problem, and it seems to be taken care of. If you have the series number, I would appreciate the information.

Check out Edmund's Crew Cab Comparison. The Dakota was first (I'm sure Detlman is now jumping up and down) and I understand why, but my personal pick is the Sport Trac, too.

I think the cool-ness will easily fit your lifestyle... but be aware of the fact the ex-Explorer platform is getting quite old.

Have a yearly drunken, knock-down-drag-out best ball foursome golf tourny in the morning, but will find out Wed or Thurs and let you know.

The fix is still being time studied, but Hughes thinks it works, just trying to do it with out lifting the bed off, seems that when you do that , the whole cab gets tweeked.

Not good!

The concern is only for those built before aprox. Jan 2001.

The cab would make "creaking" noises, the fix is for those built before Jan. 2001.

John says to check the jam for the build date, month/year and you will be fine.

Hope this helps you.

All seals conditioned using swissvax seal feed

Cleaner fluid applied to wheels and removed and then each recieved a coat of swissvax autobahn. Tyres dress with Swissvax Pneu

Beautiful job...I can't believe that these expensive exotic cars are sent out of the factory with sanding marks all over the place like that. They should be ashamed...Anyhow, nice work...

Man that is one awesome looking car. I love Austin Martins. Thanks for sharing.

I still get amazed when I see Aston Martins come like that from the factory. I wanna see more of that GK Detailing van!
