Unlike everyone on this forum the only part of the car that I do is the glass. These days that can be half the car. This is a new beginning for me since I have been cleaning windows professionally for 30 years. During this time I have become involved in product development. Wrote technical articles for several years. Given seminars at conventions. And consulted on buildings such as the World Trade Center. My specialty is glass so I began thinking there might be a greater profit in restoring and coating auto glass. Windows on buildings can become really bad without anyone caring much. But put some scratches or hard water spots on a windshield and it gets attention. Fast! Especially if its a service vehicle. People love Rain X too. But give them a superhydrophobic surface that will last a year and they would go ga ga.

Vehicular glass these days is being transformed. With smart glass in the worx. Can you imagine a touch screen internet device embedded in a side lite? And one that is based on carbon nanotubes instead of indium tin oxide! I think people would want to protect that. The future for the auto detail industry is just as much in the glass as it is the body.

Welcome, Henry Grover Jr. -

I get to do the entire vehicle from one end to the other, including all the glass.

Really like to see perfectly clean clear glass as well.

Hoping your insights into what works the best and what is the future for automotive glass treatment/s will be of great help to all of us.

Read your blogspot - thanks for sharing the info.
