Glass Guru Test

...will soon name the #1 glass cleaner in a day or 2.

I haven't seen the test yet but have ordered it. My personal favorite after 20 years is 1 wet lint-free MF towel and 1 dry MF towel. It beats all chemical cleaners that I have used over the years. We shall see.

While using just normal water and microfibers are probably very good techniques, the report is testing commercial products and not techniques. Otherwise newspaper and water would kick all their butts. :D lol I'm looking forward to seeing how they all rank. I can't wait to see what the parameters were for testing. :bigups

As the Creator, Editor and one of the "Guru's" I'd urge all of you to:

a) Not judge the report (or worse yet a product) by the "chart" of final grades. There's so much more to the report than the final grades, it's unfair to the products and yourself to simply go by what the chart says...

b) Not publish the information on the web (or any other format). We are supported solely by reader sales - when people cheat us and post info on the web, it prohibits our ability to create additional reports.

It's only $3.95 - so it's not like it requires a ton of cash to purchase. And, it's only available as a download, so you'll receive it within 24-72 hours of purchasing, rather than 5-10 days (via mail)...Any and all profits go back into creating future reports - we draw no income from the reports.

We worked *extremely* hard on this test. It was supposed to be a "quickie" test to keep everyone happy until the Wheel & Tire Care Test is released, but it turned into quite an ordeal.

<---- Knows what site he's headed to this evening!

:bounce

PS: with some of the inconvenience and drama I experienced ordering the Wax Test by mail, the downloadable idea is great for several reasons - among them the elimination of that pesky publisher! :D

I might be missing something but I just went to the guru reports site and couldn't find any mention of a glass cleaner test. There was a wax test and a future wheel and tire care test, but no glass cleaner test.

Where am I not looking?

I agree, the wax test was a PITA to order, but once I finally got it, it was a good read. Nothing earth shattering, I was already using the top rated products, but still a good read.

Now the glass test was another PITA to order and wait 72 hours to get (come on, it should be instantly downlaodable). Again it was a great read and since I've always struggled with windows, I'm lloking forward to trying the top products. Considering the report only cost the same as one container of the top cleaner, you'll save money in the long run. ( I hope that wasn't revealing too much, Steve);)

I'm looking forward to the tire cleaner test. Great work, Steve. Now if you can just get the bugs out of your online ordering... :xyxthumbs
