I have been experimenting with several different ways to get a streak free shine on my windows and from my personal experience vinegar and water work best. I have tried several methods all using Microfiber towels.........
1. Stoners Invisible Glass
2. Two parts water, one part vinegar
3. Two parts water, one part alcohol
4. Vinegar solution followed up by Stoners
5. Alcohol solution followed up by stoners
I have picked number 2 as best for me because it left little to no streaking when I was done.
Stoners Invisible Glass does good, but leaves some hazy/dirt behind and same with Alcohol.
I used two 500 watt lights to make sure i could see clearly what i was working on.
From now on this is how ill clean my windows
1. Mix two parts water and one part vinegar into a spray bottle
2. Spray onto a clean MF towel and rub in the direction of airflow across that surface.
3. Follow up with another clean and dry MF towels to buff off remaining residue.
Never rub in a circular motion, always front to back on side windows and top to bottom on rear and front windows.
Always have two microfiber clothes, and use a clean section of the MF when starting on a new window. This is just my take on things, maybe other ppl have had better results with other products and Id be glad to here anyone else's opinions.
