I see you're from the Great White North... any relation to Bob & Doug, eh?
Glare Pro Polish was recommended to me for a vexing problem that seemed to have no solution. Looking over their Web site I was skeptical of many of the claims. A little more research indicated the product wasn't well regarded by most mainstream detailers.
The Pro Polish is also marketed with OEM packaging, I found some Honda Glare Pro Polish on eBay after seeing it at a Honda dealer, I paid less than half the retail price. Same stuff. I understand it may be available with BMW and other OEM labeling although I've never personally seen it packaged that way.
Pro Polish didn't solve my vexing super-soft clearcoat problem. Worked as a dimishing abrasive it polished OK. Second protection coat went on and off OK. I wasn't floored in any way nor did I find the protection anything extraordinary. Interesting thing about the stuff is it sheets instead of beads... which may be a virtue for someone that has chronic waterspot problems. I did notice after riding in the rain or sitting outside overnight experiencing heavy dew I had few spots and little residue when a wax or sealant would have left the black finish looking pretty cruddy. The finish still marred when wiping it down with a QD and plush MF, which was the problem I was hoping to solve.
I'll tell you one thing the product excelled at... polishing and protecting chrome motorcycle pipes where almost any polish, wax or sealant burns off after the first time you get them up to temp. The stuff still appeared to be there after several trips in addition to hops around town and through several washings. The chrome stayed shiney and after a wash everywhere I applied the stuff sheeted right off and dried without spots. So regardless of whether you believe the manufacturers claims or not it is a good product for some things. YMMV.
Thanks tl no relation they live to far south, we are of the "newfie" clan.Your right about the their home pages, with the snow and ice in the winter and rain lots of rain it's hard to provide a finish that will stand up to all the weather, I will try it on my own vehicles first.
Once again thanks for the feed-back
